Transformational Bodywork

Transformational Bodywork is a unique blend of deep tissue and subtle body-work with holistic body re-education that realigns the body, corrects postural imbalances and facilitates release of chronic stress and tensions. Transformational bodywork is of benefit to every body. It can be seen as part of one’s health management.

Transformational bodywork, as envisioned by Deva Daricha, invites us to embark on a profound journey of self-discovery and healing through the sacred temple of our bodies. It recognizes that our bodies are not just physical entities but vessels of consciousness, holding within them the keys to our liberation and transformation.

At the heart of transformational bodywork is the understanding that our bodies are repositories of memories, emotions, and energetic imprints. Through deep presence and intentional touch, we can access the hidden realms of the body and unravel the layers of conditioning, trauma, and tension that may be limiting our vitality and well-being.

Transformational bodywork encourages us to cultivate a deep reverence for our bodies and to listen attentively to their whispers of wisdom. It invites us to develop a conscious relationship with our physical sensations, movements, and breath, recognizing them as gateways to deeper levels of self-awareness and healing.

One of the primary aims of this approach is the release and integration of stored tension and stagnant energy. Our bodies can become vessels for unexpressed emotions, traumas, and unconscious patterns that impede our growth and hinder our ability to experience joy and wholeness. Through skillful touch, breathwork, movement, and other somatic practices, we can gently facilitate the release of these blockages, creating spaciousness and restoring the body’s natural flow of energy.

Transformational bodywork also emphasizes the importance of reconnecting with the primal wisdom of the body and grounding ourselves in the present moment. In today’s fast-paced world, we often find ourselves disconnected from our bodies and living predominantly in our heads. Through practices such as mindful movement, conscious touch, and embodiment exercises, we can reestablish a profound connection with our physicality, reawakening our senses and deepening our embodied presence.

Furthermore, transformational bodywork acknowledges the interconnectedness of body, mind, and spirit. It recognizes that our bodies are sacred vessels that house our essence and connect us to the greater fabric of existence. By engaging in transformative body-centered practices, we can access higher states of consciousness, unlock our innate wisdom, and align ourselves with the divine essence that permeates all aspects of life.

In summary, transformational bodywork, as envisioned by Deva Daricha, is an invitation to embark on a sacred journey of self-discovery and healing through the gateway of our bodies. It emphasizes deep presence, intentional touch, and the release of tension and stagnant energy. By cultivating a conscious relationship with our bodies and honoring their inherent wisdom, we can awaken our true potential, restore balance and vitality, and reconnect with the profound interconnectedness of body, mind, and spirit.

“Where your body is, your life is.”

– Deva Daricha

Transformational bodywork gradually accesses the organic life of the body, through the psychology of embodied consciousness.

Your body remembers everything that you have ever experienced. All of your joy and all of your pain is remembered and unconsciously stored in the body’s organic mind.

Stress you have not been able to release or resolve is internalised. The memory of these experiences can crystallize in the body’s tissues in many ways such as muscular tightness, body pains and inhibited breathing.

These body memories, often outside your awareness, influence your thinking, emotions and behavior. They limit your capacity to give and receive love, to trust in your own judgement, to easily step into new situations and to take up new projects.

Transformational releases these holdings through deep tissue and subtle bodywork. This enables the body and being to restore it’s own balance, flow and harmony in place of imbalance, stuckness and distress.

Transformational Bodywork is usually offered as a series of 12 x 90 minute sessions.

Sessions 1 – 3
Beginning of the initial opening, releasing inhibited patterns of breathing, inviting more vital organic life-force and enabling the rediscovery of the flow of feeling life in the body.

Sessions 4 – 6
Deep work to release holdings in the musculature and attachments to the pelvis, lower back, belly and legs. As the lower body is the foundation of the whole, this enables a gradual recovery of our natural ease of movement, flexibility and grace.

Session 7
Releasing and balancing the neck, skull and face enables the intellect to assume it’s proper place serving our knowing not overriding it.

Session 8 – 9
Individualised analysis and specific work to integrate the top and bottom halves of the body.

Sessions 10 – 12
These subtle bodywork sessions can release holdings through the entire digestive tract. This enables healing of incomplete aspects of early development and unfolding. These sessions can also clear aspects of the past that inhibit experiencing bliss and connection to higher consciousness.

“… My experience with Transformational Bodywork has taught me awareness of my body and my emotions. So far I have had 10 sessions with Beata and each time I feel I am getting stronger in myself and I am getting to know myself better and deal with core issues which have been blocking energy and the opportunity to lead a fulfilling life.
..I am also finding that I am a lot more assertive than I used to be and in general my relationships seem to be improving. I am looking forwarded to continuing work with Beata as I know the results will be prosperous.” – Sherry

“… This has been extremely helpful. I have suffered from low grade depression most of my adult life but since undertaking bodywork I have experienced periods of blissful happiness and joy that I can’t remember the last time I felt so happy for a sustained period of time.” – Denise

“… Bodywork has been a number of things. It has been relaxing, has alleviated soreness, has penetrated deep into my muscles, ouch! but most importantly the unlocking of unknown experiences has been profound, albeit at times unexpected. Processing the experiences and associated feelings has been strengthening and liberating… The deep muscle work unlocks so much for me and I enjoy the challenge of learning and dealing with new things about myself. Ithas taken some work but I have gained so much personal insight as well as improved Health and Well Being; and for this the Transformational Bodywork process has been extremely beneficial.” – Julie

“…I have done 11 sessions with Beata. She has really helped me to access, acknowledge, endure and release pain and I have found the sessions to be a useful complement to my addiction recovery program.” – Vanessa

“…I had 5 sessions on my head with Beata. Transformational Bodywork has helped me to release pressure and tension in my head. The headaches have stopped. Before the treatments my head felt like nut and bolt done up tight. Now, it is all gone. Body Transformation freed up my head. It was an amazing experience.” – Bruce
